Who We Are
BIB is a network of people with big hearts who want to make a positive impact in the community. BIB is comprised of men and women volunteers called our Dream Team, enthusiastic
girls ages 2-19, and moms, aunts, neighbors, and friends. BIB meets approximately eight (8) times throughout the year for workshops and service projects.
BIB Workshops
Our workshops are designed to empower BIB girls and women as they battle through the challenges life throws at us. Workshop topics include social skills, affirmations, positive thinking, fashion, hair and makeup tips, public speaking, etiquette and more.
Service Projects
Our service projects include collecting donations for girls and women in crisis situations, senior citizen homes, animal rescues, and more. Some of the events BIB has participated in was Easter in the Park with the SM Wright Foundation. We handed out candy and Easter baskets to needy families in South Dallas and
posed for photo opportunities with the children. BIB also visited the St. Cloud Rescue in McKinney where the girls spent time helping the operation by walking
the dogs and grooming their coats.

What does inner beauty mean to you?
To me inner beauty means to express yourself and prove yourself as an individual.
What have you learned at BIB?
From Building Inner Beauty, I've learned how to think about myself and others in a more positive way. I'm much more confident and much more enthusiastic. It definitely felt good to help at the BIB projects. The Saint Bernard rescue, the senior center, the parade, it was all fun! Not to mention the countless other things BIB has done for the community and so many individual people.
